Termite management put simply

We follow a 5 Step approach:

Step 1 We always start with a thorough inspection of your property.

  • If live termites are found he will note locations termites were found, where possible the extent of infestation, the termite species and advice on treatment options;
  • and if requested a written quote to treat the termites can be provided.
  • These inspections are carried out in accordance to the Australian Standard 3660.2-2000

Step 2 We provide a written treatment proposal

  • Your technician will provide you with the treatment options available in your situation.
  • The proposal will be written
  • Where applicable you will be offered:
    • Termite insurance
    • Monthly interest free payment options

Step 3  We treat live termites in structure

  • All termite treatments and installations are conducted in accordance to the Australian Standard 3660.2-2000 and the suppliers installation manual.
  • Our technicians are certified and insured to conduct the treatments we offer.

Step 4  We install a treated zone to perimeter of structure

  • This treatment could be either an environmentally responsible Exterra Interception and Baiting system or one of 2 chemical systems.
    • (1) A non – repellent termiticide Termidor or Altriset system or
    • (2) a repellent termiticide Eflex system.
  • Our technicians are certified and insured to conduct the treatments we offer.

Step 5  Follow up inspection

  • We conduct the follow up inspections 4 weeks after treatments have been completed to check for any live termites and that the termite system is in good order.
  • Cooroy Pest Control will offer up a 5 year free service period on your chemical perimeter treatment, by having annual inspections. The termite inspections are to ensure that the conditions around the treated area do not change and compromise the treated zone, putting your property at risk again.

Your technician will identify conditions conducive to attracting or concealing termite entry into your home and recommend remedial action in your written report. If live termites are found he will note locations termites were found, where possible the extent of infestation, the termite species and advice on treatment options; and if requested a written quote to treat the termites can be provided. Termite treatment – Chemical

Australian Standards 3660.2-2000 – Chemical treated zone

  • Step 1 – Conduct full termite inspection
  • Step 2 – Provide a written treatment proposal (If your property qualifies the proposal will include a Termite insurance policy and payment terms for the treatment)
  • Step 3 – Treat live termites in structure
  • Step 4 – Install chemical treated zone to perimeter of structure
    • (1) Non – repellent termiticide Termidor or Altriset
    • (2) Repellent termiticide Eflex system
  • Step 5 – Conduct follow up termite inspection (at least every 12 months)

Australian Standards 3660.2-2000 – Interception and baiting system

  • Step 1 – Conduct full termite inspection
  • Step 2 – Provide a written proposal (If your property qualifies the proposal will include a Termite insurance policy and payment terms for the treatment)
  • Step 3 – Bait live termites in structure
  • Step 4 – Install Exterra interception + baiting system to perimeter of structure + monitor every 8 weeks
  • Step 5 – Conduct full termite inspection (at least every 12 months)
